Anthony Kelley has long been a major force behind the promotion of the visual arts in North Florida and Louisiana. For the past fifteen years he has owned and operated some of the most prestigious and widely celebrated galleries in that area of the United States including the award-winning SOHO Galleries of Northwest Florida and Anthony Kelley Gallery in New Orleans.
In 1995 Anthony was awarded the prestigious Ars Longa, Vita Brevis Award for Arts Supporter of the Year by the Arts Council of Northwest Florida, Inc. The award was once again bestowed upon Anthony in 1998, giving him the honor of being the only person in the State of Florida to receive the award twice.
In 2000, Anthony was appointed by then Secretary of State Katherine Harris to sit as a Grant Panelist for three-dimensional works of art. His work also garnered him the prestigious media award Philanthropist of the Year in a ten-county area of Northwest Florida.
At present Anthony represents the renowned abtsractionists Elizabeth Clement and Barbara D. Lucke.
Anthony Kelley is now seeking portfolios for review. Two and three-dimensional works are being sought as are artists who create fine craft. Interested artists may contact him via email. Impeccable references are available upon request.
Plans are now underway for Mr. Kelley to re-enter the art market through a physical gallery and through the internet.
